TAGP 155: 6 Reasons Anxiety Sufferers Need To Be More Like Spider-Man

November 19, 2018

“I Believe There Is A Hero In All Of Us.” – Spider-Man

You may be asking yourself ‘Dennis, what in the world does Spider-Man have to do with suffering with anxiety?’ A lot actually, he’s a role mode for us sensitized, and desensitized people. And today we’ll recognize whether you’re truly on the right track or not in the internal battle with anxiety.

Growing up as a curious child Spider-Man was always my go-to superhero. His cool demeanour under pressure and his charm motivated me to be just as fun-loving and cool under pressure. The only problem was life got in the way, stress accumulated, and I got farther and farther away from my true self and closer to a delusional, self hating, egotistic human being. That is, until I was hit with a wake up call called pain, the pain of leaving this earth with enormous regret. So The Anxiety Guy podcast was born.

“Everyday I Wake Up Knowing That The More People I Try And Save, The More Enemies I’m Going To Make.” – Spider-Man

I challenge each and every warrior out there today to open up their minds to new possibility today. New viewpoints and new perspectives over yourselves. To see past your emotions and to tap into a deeper understanding as to the pain and discomfort you may be going through. If you can do this, today’s podcast episode may be the most important 10 minutes of your life.

There is no greater role model than Spider-Man for an anxiety sufferer today

As the internal and external conflicts add up, the better a problem solver Spider-Man becomes. Life seems to flow naturally for him, and it can be the same for us during this time of overcoming anxiety. So let’s get into the 3 main parts of today’s podcast episode.

In today’s episode of the anxiety guy podcast we’ll be looking at:

  • How Spidey-Senses and symptoms of anxiety are connected
  • How Spider-Man masters his focus and creates positive momentum
